Southeast Unitarian Universalist Summer Institute

The Southeast Unitarian Universalist Summer Institute (SUUSI) is a week-long, multi-generational summer camp for Unitarian Universalists. SUUSI brings together over 1000 people from around the U.S. and beyond. It offers the opportunity to relax, grow, and connect in a week filled with music, nature adventures, worship workshops, and much more, all in a vibrant, accepting space.

At SUUSI, time is taken to build community from a diverse mix of ages, philosophies and interests. About one third of the participants each year are new to SUUSI and a special effort is made to connect with them.

The mission of SUUSI is to provide an experience evoking the best within us, in concert with Unitarian Universalist principles. SUUSI offers the opportunity to share an intergenerational environment of love, personal freedom, ethics, and joy in an intentional, nonjudgmental community.
