Special Newcomer/Guest Break-out Room Every Sunday After the Service

Newcomers and other guests, whether you have attended one virtual service or many, please join us in a special break-out room any Sunday during the social time following the service. You are welcome to participate in this break-out room more than once. It will be an opportunity for you to get to know us and us to get to know you. You can also share about what brought you to UUCT and ask questions you might have. And if you would rather just participate in one of the general break-out rooms during social time, you are always invited to do so. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the break-out room or about the church, please email: welcome@uutallahassee.org

Mindful Meditation

You are welcome to join us every Sunday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in person at the UUCT campus or via Zoom.

Our Sunday, December 19 gathering will be in Room L.  There will be no gathering on December 26. Current UUCT Covid Safety Guidelines will be followed.

We are a community of meditators who come together for a chance to center ourselves with calm and focus. Each week a member of the group leads the meditation, drawing from a variety of Buddhist thought. Our usual practice starts with a guided meditation or a passage reading while seated, followed by a walking meditation, then finishing with a silent meditation. At the conclusion, we share our experiences with each other.

Whether you are new or seasoned to the practice of meditation, all are welcome. Please email Ardenkelly@yahoo.com for the Zoom link invitation to be sent to you every Saturday.

Old Guys Lunch

The next Old Guys Lunch will be Wednesday, December 22 at 11:30 AM. Current UUCT Covid Safety Guidelines will be followed.

For location information, contact Steve Urse at surse2@comcast.net who currently coordinates the OGL meetings and email list.

Singing Meditation is on an alternating Tuesday/Thursday rotation schedule.  Our next gathering will be Tuesday, December 28 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM in person at the UUCT campus or via Zoom. UU Explorations

UU Explorations is a special Small Group Ministry for those interested in gaining a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist. This is a sharing and listening circle about topics that relate to the theme: What does it mean to be a Unitarian Universalist? It is an opportunity to get to know others on a deeper level and reflect together on important topics and concepts in Unitarian Universalism. At each gathering, we: check in with each other on how our lives are going, share our thoughts on one of twelve topics, simply listen to one another, and then share any further reflections we have. The circle is specifically not a class or discussion group.

The next gathering will be held Tuesday, January 18 at 7:00 PM via Zoom. The topic will be “Spiritual Practice”.  For more information, the current readings, and Zoom details contact Trudy Deyle.
